Megger LT300 Loop Impedance Tester EN-FS

£630.00

The Megger LT300 EN-FS is a high current loop impedance tester for fast, stable measurements on single and three phase systems. It offers two wire operation, 0.01 Ω resolution on the 20 Ω range, wide frequency support from 16 to 400Hz, and CAT IV 300V safety for site work. The EN-FS variant ships with fused red and green leads and clips for safe single phase testing.

Megger LT300

Designed for live installation testing, the LT300-EN-FS loop tester delivers quick, repeatable loop results. It operates on single phase supplies from 50V to 550V, with automatic selection of the correct test regime. Supply frequency is detected on connection, testing then starts automatically for simple two wire operation. The EN-FS fused lead variant is supplied with fused leads and clips for added safety. Results are easy to read on the large display, and the rubber armoured, IP54 rated case copes well with demanding conditions. Power is via eight AA cells, alkaline or NiMH, so you can keep working in the field.

Megger LT300 FAQs

What is the difference between LT300 EN-00, EN-BS, and EN-FS.
EN-00 is supplied with red and green leads, EN-BS with a BS1363 mains plug lead, EN-FS with fused red and green leads and clips.

Does it support non tripping tests.
LT300 provides high current loop testing. For two wire non tripping loop tests on 30 mA RCD circuits, see the LTW300 series.

What resolution can I expect.
0.01 Ω on the 20 Ω range, 0.1 Ω on the 200 Ω range.

How does test current vary with supply voltage.
Typical currents on the 20 Ω range are about 6A at 115V, 12A at 230V, and 27A at 550V.

What batteries does it use.
Eight AA cells, alkaline or NiMH rechargeable.
